I am so pleased to finally be able to say that I've found a new private space for classes and readings! It's a roof top garden, quite beautiful, with lots of plants (including a large pot of lavendar--yummy!), a nice view, cool breezes and shade. The space can accomodate up to six people comfortably, including myself, although I could probably squeeze in one more if I had to. It's on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, not too far uptown, easily accessible by bus, subway and car. I will have to get their new calendar first to make sure there are no scheduling conflicts, before I post actual dates and times for classes. However, I am still, as always, available for private readings in the interim.
I am also arranging an indoor space where we can meet during inclement weather. It will also, most likely, be on the Upper East Side, but not as far north. Details will be posted when they are confirmed.
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but I am willing to travel to wherever you'd like to give readings and classes, if you can't come to me. Travel expenses are extra, but I only charge what they cost me.
On a related note, I am once again reading at Necromantic next month, on Sat., July 3rd. However, this is a mega-party at a different location!!! It will be at Sullivan Hall, on Sullivan St. between Bleecker St. and West 3rd St., NYC. The closest trains are the A, C, E, B, D & F at the West 4th St. stop. The M1, M5 busses are also nearby. Unlike Bowery Poetry Club, you will have to pay the cover before getting in to see me. :-( Still, this promises to be a great event, so it'll be worth it. :-)
Blessed (upcoming) Solstice, one and all! I hope to see you soon!

I'm sorry it's been so long since my last entry: Things have been hectic on my end. :-(
There are some exciting events coming up in the near future, which I will be participating in! The first of these is the monthly Necromantic party, at 308 Bowery, NYC, on Saturday, June 5th. Not only will I be on hand to offer fun and accurate psychic readings of all kinds (as usual), but this will be the 3rd Anniversary of Necromantic...and it's gonna be HUGE! So, come on down, dressed in your darkling best and get your Goth on!
Next, there's a wonderful Summer Solstice Soiree coming up, being held by the wonderful folks at the Wiccan Family Temple, NYC. Check the Calendar for more info! I intend to be there, dressed up in full Faery fig!
Lastly, I'm finalizing the location for the classes, which will probably be held at a private location on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, NYC. As *soon* as this is confirmed, I'll start posting dates and times.
Those of you who are truly interested in learning about the fine (and fun) art of reading Tarot, Runes and other forms of divination will gain a lot of information AND hands-on experience in my classes! (Incidentally, you will also gain a coupon for one FREE one-hour reading with me if you take the first 5 classes in a given course.)
Here is a rough breakdown of the Tarot Basics course and what it covers:
-- The history of the Tarot, from ancient times to the present day
-- Its relevance to modern life
-- Its many uses, from fortelling to entertainment to magic
-- Different types and styles of decks
-- Keys to interpretation; ways to make it easier
-- Comparisons of the Major and Minor Arcana, with the latter broken down by suits and by numbers
-- Layouts: how they affect interpretation; when to use which ones
-- The qualities of a good reader; setting the mood; things to avoid
-- Round-robin practice readings with myself and the other students
This whole course runs for six sessions of two hours each, with an optional extra session for additional practice readings, if there is enough demand by the students.
Now, this covers the Tarot Basics course. I also offer an Advanced Tarot course. You would not be required to take Tarot Basics first in order to take Advanced Tarot...but it is strongly suggested that you do so.
Okay folks, that's all for now. I certainly hope to see you soon! Blessed be.

...and so is my next monthly reading gig at Necromantic! I'll be there again on Saturday night, from 11 PM on, at 308 Bowery, Manhattan, New York City.
Also, the Wiccan Family Temple's annual Open Beltane celebration is being held on Saturday, May 1st, from 2-5 PM, at the Great Hill. Please see the Calendar for more details. Looks to be a fun, fulfilling frolic for all!
Finally, I am in the last stages of planning out and booking space for my upcoming Tarot and Rune workshops. I am also planning to offer the Starlight Vision series of workshops throughout the year if there are enough people interested. I should have the dates, times and locations finalized by the time Mercury goes direct (!), which is May 11th.
With all of that to look forward to, I wish you all a Blessed Beltane and a great week!

So there was some drama at home... some local hoodlums who thought they'd take advantage of the cover provided by the heavy fog went knocking about the neighborhood, rapping on the sides of my house and playing tag on and around my front porch. I had to go chase them away, then hope that they wouldn't come back. This delayed my departure for Necromantic by a good hour or more, so I missed my connecting train and didn't arrive there until close to 2 AM. Still, it was a slow night there, what with Easter the next day and many people leaving early or staying home, so there wasn't much missed business.
Believe it or not, though, I still managed to get a reading in at the last minute; plus, several folks requested my contact info, so all in all I'd say it was a basically successful night for me, regardless. I'll be back again next month, for sure.
I'm still working on finalizing the times, dates and locations of my next series of classes. As soon as that's done, I'll let everyone know!
I also have a new article coming soon: "Art for Hire: Some Further Thoughts", which will address more issues related to that topic. It will post sometime in the next few weeks.
That's all for now. Blessed be and thanks for reading.
Happy Easter! Blessed Passover!

My next reading gig is, once again, at Necromantic, being held this month at Bowery Poetry Club, 308 Bowery (near Bleecker St.), on Saturday, April 3rd, from 12 Midnight to 4 AM (approximately).
All who want to catch up with me for a quick reading, or just to say hi, can do so then.
Reminder: There is no charge to enter the front room, where the reading are being held; only to enter the dancefloor. Plus, if you get there earlier, you might catch the wonderful food and drink at the cafe counter, too!
As for the Psychic Fair in Queens, that is NOT a go this time around. Oh well, maybe next time.
Finally, I am still working on securing a space for Tarot and Rune classes...and I've got a lead! It's on the upper East side--not TOO far up, though: E. 53rd St. at Lexington Avenue. I'm also looking into a space in the Village and one in Chelsea. When I have the full details, I'll post them here ASAP. Members will be given seating privileges if the classes get booked up, so when the classes are posted, if you're interested, please do reserve your spot early! Thanks.
There will be more to follow soon: A new essay or two, more additions to the "Recommended..." pages, plus some new events will be posted to the Calendar page. Stay tuned!
That's all for now. Thanks again for your interest and support.
Blessed Ostara / Easter! Happy Spring!

Well, my last gig at the Bowery Poetry Club was a hit! Not only did I manage to make some money, I have at least two clients who want readings next month! So, it looks like this will be a regular event for me.
The next one will be on Saturday, April 3rd. Same time, same location. Come on down!
Also, I'm currently looking for an affordable space to hold regular classes, workshops and other events. Those of you who are familiar with the NY / NJ Metro area will probably understand just how difficult this can be...but I owe it to you and to myself to succeed in this. If any of you have any suggestions as to spaces in Manhattan, Western Brooklyn or Queens, I'm very interested in hearing about them.
One last note: There's a chance I'll be reading, perhaps lecturing, at a psychic fair in Flushing, Queens on Sunday, April 11th, 11 AM - 5 PM. As soon as I get confirmation on that, I will let you know.
That's all for now. And, as a friend of mine told me earlier, "Happy Bring-Back-the-Snakes Day!"

I've got a new Reading gig coming up! It's on Saturday, March 6, at a venue called the Bowery Poetry Club, 301 Bowery, New York City. I'll be there from 10 PM 'til about 4 AM, depending on when they close.
There's a monthly party there called, "Necromantic," whose hostess graciously allowed me to set up a reading table in the front room, away from the main dance area so the music isn't too loud. (That's one of the main reasons I'm not too fond of reading at nightclubs. Still, I'm making an exception for this party because it's so much fun and there's a great clientele.)
There's no cover to enter the front room, where the readings will be held, although there is a $10 cover to enter the main dance floor...which is well worth it, if you enjoy Old School Goth and Alternative music.
Assuming next month's gig is successful, it will become a regular monthly event for me, so you'll always have a place to find me if you want to see me "live." My rates will be slightly lower there, so this is a good opportunity to "try me out" first, before booking a private, full-length reading with me.
As I understand it, there will also be a vendor there selling "Crafty" wares, so please come down and check her stuff out, too!
That's all for now. Stay tuned for more info, including upcoming dates and times for the Rune Workshop and Tarot Class!
Gong Hee Fat Choy! Happy Chinese New Year! (Year of the Metal Tiger)

I'm very pleased to announce that after many, many years of working and waiting, I have finally realized my goal of becoming an Official Clergy Person, registered in my home city and state of New York! You now have the distinct honor of addressing the Reverend Triodítis, thank you! *bows as fanfare plays in the background*
(No, I really don't take myself all that seriously; only as much as I need to, to get the job done right.)
Anyway, this is Good News because certain rites of passage that I perform, such as Handfastings, can now be legally binding as well, if the celebrants wish them to be. This is of great benefit to the Pagan and Interfaith communities of which I am part; this makes me very happy, indeed. Woo-hoo!
We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...NOT.

My desktop computer, which had been chugging along for the better part of 13 years, has finally bitten the dust. Theoretically. You never can be too sure.
Anyway, the upshot to this is that the essays that I was about to post to this site are still on that desktop and are unable to be accessed at this time. (What, did you honestly think I composed all this stuff directly on this site? Well, only about half of it. :)) As soon as I can retrieve them, I'll put them up.
Aside from that, I'm still planning to start those Tarot and Rune classes...but I haven't heard back from any of you who requested them in the first place. I can't very well go ahead and book them without a head count, so... Please get back to me ASAP so we can get started! Thanks.
I hope your new years are starting out well, may they continue on that way.

I hope each and every one of you has had a wonderful and fulfilling New Year.
I just wanted to let you all know that very soon, I will be holding my Tarot Basics class and a Rune workshop! I haven't done these in a while and I've missed them, so I'm grateful that there have been some recent inquiries and requests for them.
I plan to start them sometime within the next few weeks, so if you're interested, please drop me a line and let me know.
Prices start at $90 per class for individual instruction, but will be lowered for each additional person who registers for the same class. I also charge sliding scale fees for people who are in financial difficulty. If you're truly interested, contact me and we'll talk about it.
Aside from that, I am still available to give readings. Those prices have not changed as of now; see the Bookings page for more info.
I'll be posting another essay soon, on the subject of Love and Work and Commitment. Watch for it!
That's all for now, folks. Blessed Be!
